Today I lunch-hosted a student from Minnesota, which is where I am from, so that was really neat. We went to the commons where they were giving out free hugs because it was Friday, so I obviously had to take advantage of that and I ended up walking away with three hugs! :-) Today there was another Psychology candidate, a visiting professor from Beloit, who made a presentation this afternoon entitled "Risks for Binge Eating During the Transition to University." It sounded very interesting to me, but unfortunately I was unable to go.
Tonight is Exrava-GAME-za, an event sponsored by Residence Life, where you can go and play in game shows such as Family Feud, Wheel of Fortune, and the Price Is Right. And I heard there are over $500 in prizes!!!
Tomorrow night the Black Student Union (BSU) and the fraternity Sigma Chi are hosting a lounge party, and Sunday night is open gym for volleyball, so with all that is going on, it is sure to be a fun weekend!
